 GREAT TV / TERRIBLE SAMSUNG "NO SERVICE" September 10, 2010

TV performs as good if not better than advertized. I read the comments about the poor customer support from Samsung, and THEY WERE RIGHT. I bought the LAN adapter so I could show pictures from my laptop on the TV and was having problems because the owners manual was confusing and it was not working. When I called customer support I KNEW MORE THAN THEY DID AND I KNEW NOTHING!! I was told that I had to have the TV connected to the Internet in order for it to work. I said that I have a router. The TV talks to the router. The Laptop talks to the router. Why do they have to go on line for the Laptop to talk to the TV???? I was told (in a condisending way)that is the way it works. I called several times in hopes that I would finaly get someone that was at least shown the manual for this TV but that was never to happen. I finally got it all to work properly. Love the TV. HATE THE "CUSTOMER NO SERVICE" at Samsung. I'll think twice about buying Samsung products againg.

Product was very easy to set up and has an excellent picture. We are in a fringe area and still use an antenna. The design and features on this TV has met all of our needs. I would recommend this TV as a nice addition to any home.

This is the 3rd Samsung I've bought. This one for my inlaws, a 26 inch for the camper. and a 52 inch for the home along with a samsung Blu-ray player. All are excellent TVs. I've had the oldest one over 2 years and never a moment's trouble.

Magnificent picture quality. Remote is easy to use. Instructions to setup were clear. Very pleased.
Nice TV when not buzzing August 18, 2010

The picture quality is very nice, set up is intuitive, and the styling is attractive. The first TV had a loud buzzing sound emanating from the rear. Other reviewers have noted this and it was noticeable at normal listening levels. Some times it was loud as soon as the set was turned on and other times it became louder over time.
The second set hasn't had this problem yet. A low buzzing sound is still present, but you cannot hear it while watching TV. There appears to be an issue with a component on this model since my older Samsung doesn't exhibit this problem.
The price is right and the set is very nice, but you may have to exchange it due to the buzzing sound.
